THERE FOR NEGLECTED, ABUSED AND ABANDONED ANIMALS.

REFUGE UPDATE

From 30th October 2023, Julies Animal Refuge will no longer be "open"

to the public, or taking animals into the refuge directly from the public.

​

Having been public-facing 6 days a week for 28 years, it is time

for Julie and the team of volunteers to take a different path.

​

We will be co-ordinating "behind the scenes" rescues and assistance for animals in need with the local vets and other rescues.

​

We would like to thank all our supporters, past, present, and into the future.

​

​

Most of our funds come from our weekly Garage Sale which
operates from its very own Garage! 
Garage sales are usually Wednesdays, or visit by arrangement with Julie.
 A huge thanks to all our donators and all our shoppers!
We accept cash & eftpos.

ADOPTION

Our standard adoption fee is $100 for kittens and $80 for older cats.

This price includes de-sexing & micro-chipping and registering on the NZCAR. All animal adoptions are to be arranged via appointment. Please call us on
